Sollerön is the pearl of the beautiful Siljan area. The island with its many villages is 8 km long and 4 km wide. On the vast mainland are the villages of Gesunda and Ryssa and many cottages. Gesundaberget is a well-known eye-catcher.
Today, just over 1,700 people live in the parish. It offers activities and experiences, but also peace and quiet during all parts of the year.
