Establishes “Geoplats Klikten” as part of Geopark Siljan. Klikten is already a popular excursion destination for locals and a destination for tourists. The beautiful nature, the cultural trail, the Vikings, Karl Lärka, birds and frogs, ski tracks and sledding hill attract and capture the interest of many, old and young. And Klikten has the potential for more! Adapted management, better accessibility and marketing are essential. Several sub-projects are underway.
Examples include restoration of the Hembygdsgården and other buildings, information signage, soil surveys of the Viking burial ground, construction of a blast furnace, grazing with cows, sheep and goats, clearing of Agnmyren, etc., and garden projects at Lärkastugan.
