Stoltgårdens Mat & Café will close on January 8th!
The lunch market has decreased drastically due to the pandemic and inflation. It is no longer economically viable to run a kitchen at Stoltgården. The losses are becoming too great. Losses that affect Brf Soldi, which owns Mat & Café.
For a few years now, AB Morastrand has closed the kitchens at the other sheltered housing facilities in Mora municipality – Hanslinden, Noretgården and Spanskbacken.
There, residents are free to shop for food wherever they want.
The Wibe restaurant delivers pre-ordered food boxes to the residents of Stoltgården until December 19. After that, deliveries will end and the Wibe restaurant will close on weekends and all weekdays.
On December 20, 21 and 22, and 27, 28 and 29, Bodil will prepare pre-ordered lunches for the residents of Stoltgården. She will also do so on January 2, 3, 4 and 5. But then it is closed.
From January 8th, residents will be able to order food themselves with the help of family and friends.
Brf Soldi is working on finding a solution for organized food ordering.
