There was great interest in the Open House at the Hembygdsgården on Ascension Day. The catastrophic weather with snowfall the day before was replaced by sunshine and warmer temperatures.
The local history association provided a variety of activities, including a tip walk, face painting and stilt walking for the children, as well as a presentation of the blast furnace. Coffee was served and Älvokaffe entertained with fiddler songs. (Inger Boström had the accordion with her). The ever-popular kolbullarna were sold out as they always do. A very nice event. Good for the Sollerö area.
