Project manager Karin Sten for Mora Municipality's cultural program for the elderly – "Guldkanten" – shone like the sun. A total of 25 people had gathered in the Winter Garden to listen to the "Trivselduon" from Orsa, Bernt Skeri on accordion and Stig Nilsson on violin.
The audience enjoyed old favorites such as “En månskenspromenaden”, “Teddybjörnen Fredriksson”, “Fiolen Min”, “Love me Tender” and more. Upon request, the duo also played “Koppången” and “Säkkijärvin polkka.” Coffee with homemade bread from Vinäs bakery was served. “Guldkanten” is open to all seniors in Mora municipality. The activities take place during the spring and take place at the four retirement homes in the municipality – Hansgården, Noretgården, Spanskgården and Stoltgården. Thursdays 1:30 p.m. – 3:30 p.m. is “Guldkanten” at Stoltgården.
