We have seen, read and heard about how non-profit forces have transformed the old Prayer House in Gesunda into a little "jewel" in recent years. Both in terms of exterior and interior. The Prayer House is used for gatherings such as baptisms, weddings, funerals and concerts.
However, a costly renovation of the roof remains (which now seems to have been resolved).
A few days before Christmas, an envelope landed in the mailbox at Bystugan. The letter was from His Majesty King Carl XVI Gustaf, who announced “a cultural heritage grant of a whopping 160,000 SEK to the Prayer House for the renovation of the roof.”
That was a Christmas present! Congratulations!
