Every three years, the Diocese of Västerås invests in art exhibitions in selected churches.
With the theme "6 senses", 6 artists will be on display in 6 churches in Dalarna between June 5 and September 4. The exhibitions are located in Storsätern's chapel, Idre, Våmhus, Rättvik, Torsång and Sollerö church.
In Sollerö Church, the artist Maria Koolen Hellmin, with the title “Under bar himmel”, allows new images to merge with the vaulted vault of the old church. Slowly, the images replace each other layer by layer. They wrap around and thus create new motifs. Curious? Visit Sollerö Church and look up at the ceiling. The church is open all summer.
