Do you remember nature's "iceberg chain" at Rävnäs last spring and winter?
Back then, the wind and the force from Siljan's ice had formed large piles of ice right where Storsiljan and Gesundafjärden meet. This year, the "mountain range" is not as impressive, but you can see how the forces have formed the ridges and how ice floes tower over the snow-covered ice.
A magnificent sight with Tällberg far away on the horizon.
Try a hike between Kulåra and Rävnäs or Rävnäs and Bäcksta. The ice is still thick closest to land. Don't forget your thermos and sandwich!
