That was what was on the headlines in the 70s and 80s. One of Sweden's most popular dance bands – Ingmar Nordström's – performed for dancing on several consecutive Twelfth Nights in front of a packed Solleröpark. Last week, Ingmar Nordström himself (now 90 years old) was interviewed on the radio program P4 Dans.
Ingmar then told about the orchestra's last tour in 1991. And he especially remembered the gig on Sollerön. During the break, a few people had come up to the box with folk costumes for the orchestra members. "A quick change of clothes and after the break we played "Gösta Gigolo" and "Chanson d'Amour" and other hits in folk costumes. I'll never forget that," said Ingmar.
Maybe a few more who remember?
