There are more than just Klippen who are involved in charity. An important part of the activities of Odd Fellow and Rebecka-logen is to support various associations and projects with financial contributions. A few years ago, Sollerö Hembygdsförening received 30,000 SEK.
For two years, hospital clowns Vimsan and Tant Prick have been spreading joy among patients at Mora Hospital. Recently, the clowns received a gift of 18,000 SEK from “Rebeckalägret Hanna” in Dalarna – the female section of the Odd Fellow Order.
“The clowns mean a lot to the children in particular,” says Anneli Ryss, a resident of Sollerö and the head matriarch of Rebeckorna in upper Dalarna. “It feels very meaningful to us to support the clowning activities so that they can continue to bring laughter to both children and adults.”
As we know, the Odd Fellows and the Rebeckorna have their meeting place here on Sollerön. Associations and individuals apply for donations.
