The beach path measures 18 km around Sollerön and is managed by the Parish Association and the Village Law.
It is a popular hiking and cycling trail that offers beautiful views for locals and visitors. Along the path there are several huts and new information signs about Sollerön's nature and history.
3 years ago, project money was received to clear and improve the path with footbridges, bridges and signs. In the middle of the work, the high water level for Lake Siljan in the summer of 2023 came and several sections of Strandstigen were damaged. Also last summer, the path was exposed to rain and strong winds that made it difficult to pass on some sections.
Now we are investing in a new start for Strandstigen! The parish association and the Village Law are prepared.
