Party! Celebrations all over the parish!

The first weekend in June was packed with festive activities in the parish.

Sollerö Pensionärsförening organised a National Day celebration at Stoltgården, with a tradition of roast herring and strawberry cake. Sold's Finest and Ällvo Kaffe provided the musical entertainment and about 150 people came, saw and enjoyed the crowd.

In the evening, 38:ans Veranda hosted a dinner with music by Creedence Clearwater Survival. High spirits and full house of course!

Early Saturday morning, almost 3,000 cyclists pedalled away in the "Siljan Runt." The rain and wind contributed to a tough race but most of them were happy and very satisfied when they reached the finish line. The table with Dala horses in different colours was fully loaded in Idrottsparken.                                                                                                                                 

The summer season then kicked off at Gesundabergets Värdshus with the "After Bike" barbecue buffet. Very good and popular. Silwagården premiered "Arts & Crafts" during the weekend and Sollerö Jordgubbar started selling from the first harvest of strawberries from the cultivations in Utanmyra. There is a lot going on in Sollerö parish!
